Entering its 27th season, the Hot Springs Village Concerts Association brings stellar performances to the Woodlands Auditorium in 2018-2019.
Sept. 12-14 opens the fall season with the long-anticipated The Doo Wop Project. Opening the show with the evolution of Doo Wop from the groups’ tight harmonies on a street corner to the biggest hits on the radio today will enthrall your senses.
Music from the Belmonts, Flamingos, Smokey Robinson, The Temptations and The Four Seasons will be mixed with Doo Wopified versions of modern musicians like Michael Jackson and Maroon 5 – some of the greatest music in American pop and rock history!
At the Woodlands on Nov. 14-16 is Ethan Bortnick ,who was only 5 when he began mastering Beethovan, Mozart, Little Richard, Billy Joel, Elton John and creating original compositions. Bortnick has performed around the globe in intimate theaters and large arenas of over 70,000 people.  His nationally televised TV show, “The Power of Music,” and his 2013 full-length feature film, “Anything Is Possible,” garnered rave reviews.
The Dallas String Quartet, referred to as DSQ Electric, headlines Jan. 16-18. These classically trained musicians will perform classical pieces with a second act of pop and rock sounds, using both traditional and electric strings.
Farewell Angelina, an all-female country group with four powerhouse vocalists, dynamic songwriters and multi-instrumentalists, appears March 13-15. Their blend of harmonies over blazing double violins and guitars has earned soaring praise.
