Sallie Mae Tapps, 84, of Gurdon, died Sunday, May 30, 2010,  in University of Arkansas Medical Systems, Little Rock. She was born March 6, 1926, in Emmett, daughter of the late Charlie and Pearl Madison McClelland.
She was member of the Jehovah Witness Congregation.
She leaves her memories with her son, Charles Hearn, of Curtis; her daughter, Alma Taylor, of Seattle, Wash., 11grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and seven great–great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Tapps will lie in state in the funeral home on Friday, June 4, noon until 6 p.m. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 5, 9:30 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. in the funeral home.
A Graveside Service Of  Remembrance will be held Saturday, June 5, in Curtis Cemetery with Rev. Ronald Morris, Associate Minister at St. John Baptist Church, Houston, Texas, will officiate. Services provided by the staff of Williams Funeral Home, Inc.
