Mr. Dan Jackson, 99, of Prescott, passed away on Jan. 3, 2010, in Medical Park Hospital in Hope. He was born June 19, 1910, in Nevada County, to Riley and Mary Hopson Jackson. He was an employee of Bemis Lumber Company of Prescott. Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and six sisters.
His survivors include his wife of 75 years Audrey Hopson Jackson of Prescott; three sons: Dan Jackson Jr. of Memphis, Tenn.,  Junior Lee Jackson of Chicago, Ill. and Burnett Jackson of Prescott; two daughters, Jo Marie Bragg of Arkadelphia, Linda Jackson Dixon of Prescott,  15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
The funeral service was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 9, in Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott. The burial was in DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott. The arrangements were by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.
Family received friends, Friday, Jan. 8, from 5-7 p.m. at Brazzel/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott.
