Mrs. Sarah Frisby 69 of Gurdon, passed away Friday, Jan. 1, in Arkadelphia.
Mrs. Frisby was born June 18, 1940, in Crossett to J.C. and Lillie Pearl Morgan Griffis. She was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Charlie Griffis; one sister, Connie Ruth Scroggins; and two great-grandchildren.
Her survivors include her husband, Donald Frisby of Gurdon.; one son, Dennis Frisby and wife Sue of Gurdon; three daughters, Orre Brown and husband Gary of Burmingham, Ala., Connie Hall and husband Eddie Earl of Ethel, La., and Judy Smith and husband Jerry of Linevine, Ala.; four brothers, Joe Griffis of Texas, Floyd Griffis of Crossett, Jackie Griffis of Baytown, Texas and Paul Douglas of Crossett; one sister, Margie Gardner of Crossett; her father-in-law, Lawson Frisby of Zwolle, La.; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Frisby will be Saturday, January 2, 2010 between 6-8 PM at Pharr Funeral Home of Gurdon.
Services will be Sunday, January 3, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Pharr Funeral Home of Gurdon Chapel with Bro. Frank Hanson officiating. Interment to follow in Rosehedge Cemetery under the direction of Pharr Funeral Home of Gurdon.
