Billie Wright Egleston, 83, of Glenwood, passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2010, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hot Springs.  
She was born in Gridley, Calif., on Oct. 23, 1926,  to Obert and Eula Pennington Wright. On Feb. 21, 1948, she was married to Charlie Egleston who preceded her in death on June 4, 1990. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Bennie Weatherford.  
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Glenwood. She and her husband owned and operated Egleston Feed Store and Egleston Lawn and Garden Center in Glenwood for many years.   
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Gary Oelsen of Hot Springs; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Joe Egleston, of Glenwood, David and Vickie Egleston of Arkadelphia and Ted and Susie Egleston of Hopper; two sisters, Carmel Miles, and Mary Shields, of Glenwood; one brother, Richard Wright of Hot Springs; seven grandchildren, Jason Egleston, Ashlea Lawson, Brandon Egleston, Charles Egleston, Chrissy Egleston, Spencer Egleston and Patsie Egleston; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  
Services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 2, in the Glenwood First Baptist Church with Bro. Erby Burgess officiating.
Visitation will be Tuesday, 6 until 8 p.m.
Interment will be in the Grants Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
