Cury Juniours Pigg, 61, of Gurdon, passed from this life on Thursday, June 10, 2010, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.
He was born on Oct. 12, 1948 in the Vaden community, the son of Brady and Ernestine Williams Pigg, Sr. Cury was a member of the Church of the Living God. He was preceded in death by his mother and his sister, Barbara Hall.
Cury is survived by his father and stepmother, Brady and Mary Pigg Sr of Fairbanks; two sons, Anthony B (Susanna) Williams of Arkadelphia and Clyde J. Williams of Curtis; three sisters, Eassie Dogbe of Glen Burnie, Md., Carol Renfo of Fairbanks and Jacqueline Ayala of Fairbanks; three brothers, Roy Clark of Wisconsin, Brady Pigg Jr. of Las Vegas, Nev., and Ronald Pigg of Fairbanks; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 17, at Church of the Living God, The Pillar and Ground of the Truth Temple #16 in Vaden, with Bishop Roosevelt D. Pigg officiating. Interment will be in Vaden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Welch Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
