Connie Alice Lichty-Smith, who lived in Denver, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018, 10 days short of her 85th birthday. She was born in Fort Smith on April 1, 1933, to Thomas and Ruth Lichty.
She attended Fort Smith Schools and following graduation married Donnell O. Wells. His work brought her to live in nine different states while always caring for her two sons, Thomas and Brian Wells.
She returned to Fort Smith to be home and to be there for her father. She was very loyal to friends and family and was very devoted to caring for her sons and father. She was kind and generous to all.
She had many interests and was active in the Nifty-Fifties, often being hostess to monthly meetings in her home.
She enjoyed playing bridge and loved all of nature, especially her plants and flowers. Her favorite thing to do was getting her hands dirty while digging in the dirt. She was a very special woman and will be missed by all who knew her.
