Agnes Ann Scharbor, 92, of Booneville passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018, in Booneville. She was born June 27, 1925, in Nola to her parents Wilfred and Susie (Vaughn) Kiersey. She retired from Booneville City Hospital and was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church in Booneville. Agnes always enjoyed taking care of her home, especially tending to her flower beds, but most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilfred and Susie (Vaughn) Kiersey; her husband, Luther H. Scharbor; one sister, Mary Elizabeth Kiersey; and two brothers, Walter Kiersey and Ivan Kiersey.

Survivors include two sons, David Scharbor and wife Monta of Booneville and Bob Scharbor and wife Gaylon of Booneville; two sisters, Rosie Biggs of Booneville and Virgie Kiersey of Booneville; three brothers, Lawrence Kiersey of Banks, Chester Kiersey of Casa and Clarence Kiersey of Springdale; five grandchildren, Vanessa O’Hare, Brenton Scharbor, Samantha Kearney, Lori Holt and Sara Taylor; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Glendale Cemetery in Booneville officiated by Brother Hank Weaver under the direction of Booneville Funeral Service.
