Bertha Mae Anderson, 85, of Gurdon, died Wednesday, June 2, 2010, in Gurdon. 
She was born Sept. 3, 1924, in Princeton, daughter of Raymond and Mary Lock House.
She was a housewife and a member of Eastern Star Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, O’Dray Anderson.
She leaves her precious memories with her children, O’Dray Anderson of Gurdon and Debra Farmer of Raleigh Durham, N. C.; two brothers, Roosevelt House of Gurdon and Hosea House of San Deigo, Calif.; two sisters,  Lillie B. Anderson and Maxine Albert of Gurdon, and four grandchildren.
Mrs. Anderson will lie in state on Saturday, June 5, 2010, in the funeral home 1- 5 p.m., the family will greet friends on Sunday, June 6, in the funeral home 4 – 5 p.m.
 A Service Of Remembrance will be held on Monday, June 7,  11 a.m. in Eastern Star Baptist Church, Smithton, with Rev. Marshall Allen officiating.
 The committal service and final resting place will be in Rose Hedge Cemetery.
