The ninth annual Market Day will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 14 at Wesley United Methodist Church. Located in the fellowship hall, the indoor market will feature a wide variety of wooden handcrafted items such as a wooden bench, garden trellis, bird houses and feeders, and wooden boxes.

Other handmade crafts will include stepping stones, soaps, metal washer necklaces, aprons and bibs.

The market will offer fresh eggs and produce, including Esau’s sweet corn from Dumas.

Jams and jellies will also be for sale, as well as baked goods such as homemade sourdough bread and sweet breads.

The highlight of the event will be the silent auction of a quilt donated by the Wesley Keenagers quilting circle. The silent auction will be held throughout the market hours, with the final bid taken at 1 p.m.

All proceeds will go to the daycare project.
