A Clark County man has been pronounced dead following a wreck during the weekend.
According to the accident report, on Sunday, March 25, Steven Howell, 23, of Okolona was traveling on Highway 26 West in Okolona in a 2000 Ford Mustang when the vehicle failed to negotiate a curve in the eastbound lane. The vehicle reportedly left the roadway and struck a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Clark County Coroner Tim Welch.
The time of the crash was 8:10 p.m. Besides Howell and the driver, there were two other occupants of the vehicle. The surviving three were listed as injured and taken to St. Vincent’s and Arkansas Children’s Hospital. ASP Cpl. Christopher Harper investigated the scene.
