Rosemary Carroll, 67, passed away in Phoenix, Arizona, on March 7, 2018 after a long illness.
She attended school in Arkadelphia from 1965-68 while her father, LTC Joseph D. Spinelli, Sr., taught at what was then Henderson State College.
She is a 1974 graduate of St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing in Towson, Maryland, and an Air Force veteran. Mrs. Carroll was a highly-respected and beloved nurse at Havasu Regional Medical Center in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
Rosemary was born in Berlin, Germany, and lived in Baltimore, Maryland, the Panama Canal Zone, Bluffton, Ohio, San Antonio and Corpus Christi, Texas, Gulfport, Mississippi, Duluth, Minnesota, Melbourne, Florida, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Surviving are her children, Alison and Daniel Carroll, her father, two sisters, Mary Bolling and Elizabeth (Neil) Balmert, and four brothers: Nicholas (Susan), Joseph Jr. (Karen), Robert (Melisa), and Edward (Caroline), sister-in-law, Lucinda W. Spinelli, and brother-in-law, Samuel D. Stone. Rosemary had an unwavering faith in our Savior Jesus Christ (John 12:24). Her good cheer, optimism, and love for all God’s creatures will be sorely missed.
Preceding Rosemary in death are her mother Mary M. Spinelli, sister, Anita Stone, and brothers, John and James.
