Clark County experienced a slight decrease its unemployment rate for the month of November.
According to statistics provided by the Arkansas Department of Workforce, the unemployment rate for Clark County for the month of November was 3.4 percent. The unemployment rate for October was 3.5 percent, while an unemployment rate of 3.4 percent was recorded for September.
Clark County had a civilian labor force of 9,726 for November. The labor force was 9,844 for October and 9,903 for September.
Of the November labor force, 9,393 people were employed, while 333 people were unemployed. A civilian labor force of 9,602 and an unemployment rate of 3.6 percent was reported for November 2016.

• Dallas County’s unemployment rate remained unchanged at 4.0 percent. An unemployment rate of 4.2 percent was reported in September.
• Garland County's unemployment rate increased slightly from 3.5 percent in October to 3.6 percent in November. An unemployment rate of 3.8 percent was reported for September.
• Hempstead County reported an unemployment rate of 3.0 percent. The November percentage is identical to October’s and down from 3.2 percent in September.
• Hot Spring County had an unemployment rate of 3.3 percent. An unemployment rate of 3.3 percent was reported for October, while September’s percentage came in at 3.6 percent.
• Montgomery County's unemployment rate tumbled from 4.3 percent in September and October to 3.3 percent in November.
• Nevada County reported an unemployment rate of 3.2 percent for November. The percentage is up slightly from 3.1 percent in September and October.
• Ouachita County's unemployment rate increased from 4.1 percent in October to 4.2 percent in November. An unemployment rate of 4.3 percent was reported in September.

The percentage is up slightly from 3.2 percent in October, but down from 3.4 percent in September.
Seasonally adjusted statistics for the state show there were 50,117 people unemployed out of a labor force of 1,372,261 for an unemployment rate of 3.7 percent. The percentage is up from 3.6 percent in October and 3.5 percent in September.
The national unemployment rate for November was 3.9 percent. The percentage is identical to October’s, but down from 4.1 percent in September.
