Annie Lucile Purifoy, age 95, of Malvern, passed away Monday, October 30, 2017. She was born October 2, 1922 in Manchester, Ark. to the late Leonard Garfield and Annie Belle (Lee) Huneycutt. She was a homemaker and a beautician and enjoyed quilting and listening to the Gaithers. She was one of 15 children and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Lawrence Wesley Purifoy and siblings.
Survivors are her sons Jerry Allen (Sherry) Purifoy of Malvern, Ronald Edward (Kathy) Purifoy of Malvern, brother Terrell Huneycutt of Texas, five grandchildren Dr. Shawn (Brenda) Purifoy, Aaron Lee Purifoy, Carla (Kip) Kesterson, Jason (Allie) Purifoy, Jeffrey Scott (Buffy) Purifoy, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was Wednesday, November 1, 2017, 6:00-8:00 pm at Regency Funeral Home.
Funeral Service was Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Regency Funeral Home with Elder Don Farris officiating. Burial to follow at Macedonia Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dr. Shawn Purifoy, Aaron Purifoy, Jason Purifoy, Jeffrey Purifoy, Lane Purifoy, Grady Purifoy, Kip Kesterson and Adam Efird.
