Joy White, 90, of Gurdon, Arkansas passed away Oct. 9, at Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation Center in Arkadelphia.
Joy was born May 13, 1927 to Robert and Grace (King) Trout in Gurdon, Arkansas. She worked in Banking and Bank Management.
Joy attended Henderson State Teachers College, was a lifelong member of Beech Street Baptist Church, She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, spending time on the lake and fishing.
Joy was preceded in death by her parents, husband; William Lawrence White Sr., two brothers; Art Trout and Jim Bob Trout.
Joy is survived by her son Larry White and wife Annette of Gurdon, Arkansas, two grandchildren; Kelly (Jeanie) White of Gurdon, Arkansas and Tracy White (Rodney) Grice of Bryant, Arkansas, five great-grandchildren; Tucker, Calley, Garret, Sawyer and Grace.
Visitation will be Thursday, Oct.12 from 1 – 2:30 prior to service at 2:30 at Beech Street Baptist Church Gurdon, Arkansas with Bro. David Graves officiating.
Interment will follow in Center Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Pharr Funeral Home of Gurdon.
