Adolph Hughes age 85 of New DeRoche passed away August 27, 2017.
He was born February 10, 1932 in New DeRoche to the late Charlie and Glenner Thornton Hughes. He was retired from G.M. Motors, Reynolds and also retired from the Farmer’s Market. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Linda Jones, brothers, Frank, Sylvester and James and sister, Willie Efird.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years Jean Ray Hughes to whom he married on June 23, 1951, sons: Royce (Glenda) Hughes of New DeRoche, Harold (LaVonda) Hughes of Hot Springs, daughters: Nina (Dennis) Whitlock of New DeRoche and Pam (Adrian) Livingston, of Hot Springs, son-in-law Donald Jones, siblings: Marvin (Carolyn) Hughes of Hot Springs, John Hughes, Mary Ellen Wedsted both of New DeRoche, and Bonnie (Elster) Allen of Bismarck, nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday August 29, from 5-8 p.m at Regency Funeral Home.
Service will be held Wednesday August 30 at 10 a.m. in the Regency Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jason Hughes officiating. Pallbearers will be his grandsons: Bret Jones, Josh Hughes, Brian Hardage, Rodney Hardage, Corey Whitlock and Dagen Hughes.
