Work to repair Red Springs Road’s leaky water tank has been completed.
While the tank was out of commission, the households in the area, which number around 70, were provided water from the city's Tenth Street tank.
In order to stop the leak, the tank was drained and its floor panels were replaced.
The work took a week to complete and was performed by three technicians of Texas Aquastore. Assistance was provided by Supervisor James Cox, Ricky Evans, and J.D. Smith.
The project cost over $60,000, with the tank expected to last many more years.
