Kenneth Ross of Gurdon has been charged for allegedly taking items from a house.
Clark County Sheriff’s deputies travelled to a Cates Road residence recently to investigate a break-in that occurred through a back window.
During an interview with Ross, the defendant reportedly admitted to taking things from the house. Ross allegedly entered the home through a bathroom window and described where the good would be in his own home.
After receiving a search warrant, authorities found the location of the items to be true.
In addition to being charged for residential burglary and theft of property, the defendant also faces a count relating to his sex offender status.
Since 2008, Ross has registered in Clark County. However on Feb. 9, he verified his Gurdon residence with an address different from where he was actually staying.
Ross is slated to appear back in court next month.
