Saving the Best for Last
In Genesis, God tells us when He created the world, it was good. And at that time, there was perfect peace and no knowledge of any troubles.
However, since the fall of man, the world has been on a downward spiral, and today we are still witnessing the world’s disintegration. We have heard and seen many deeds of violence, murders, robberies, earthquakes, wars and threats of wars.
These terrible reports have certainly captured our attention, which make us wonder, when does it end?
No one can answer this question with any certainty, but we know the word of God indeed assures us that perilous timeswill surely come as the end of the age draws near. Could these calamities serve as a warning? Perhaps so, but don’t worry, there is a bright side.
Your greatest days are ahead of you. --No matter how much you’re troubled by the things that are going on in this world, this world is not your home. God has taken extraordinary measures in preparing a greater place for you. With Him, it keeps getting better and better.
Today, I want to challenge you to keep praying, trusting and obeying. God is in full control and He sees everything that is happening among us. He hasn’t forgotten us, He’s just saving the best for last.
Please be encouraged as you focus on the following: Our sight is blurred, our hearing is impaired, and our minds are also quite limited. None of us have conceived in our thoughts, dreams, or imagination the things God has prepared for us - That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him" (1 Corinthians 2:9).
