Melvin McPeak, 63, Gurdon, passed June 12, 2017.
He was born September 12, 1953, son of Willie and Aletha Phifer McPeak. He was a member of Kingdom Authority Christian Ministries. He was a 1971 graduate of Gurdon High School.
He worked at Union Pacific Railroad and Georgia Pacific. He was the operator of McPeak Lawn Care.
He was preceded in his passing by his parents; his sister, Bertha Meekins; a grandson, Adrian M. Fulks and son, Kedre’us Norvell.
He leaves his wife, Jacqueline McPeak of Gurdon; children, Natasha (Clifton) Hunter of Bryant, Kelvin (Jessica) McPeak of Avilla, Kevin (Keirere) Fulks of Texarkana, and Kaleda Norvell of Emmet; six grandchildren, siblings, Maxine Johnson of Humble, Texas, Wendell McPeak of Gurdon; his father and mother-in-law, Mitchell and Belva Wafer of Emmet.
Public visitation at the funeral home 1 – 7 p.m. Monday. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Kingdom Authority Christian Ministries, Rev. Quinton C. Radford, pastor and eulogist.
