Addie Sue Wilson McCauley, 95, Arkadelphia, passed May 4, 2017. She was born October 8, 1921, daughter of Gabriel and Bessie Davis Wilson.
She was a member of Morriah Missionary Baptist Church. She was educated at the Mt. Morriah Rural School.
She was a member of the Universal Evergreen Verbena Chapter 192, OES-PHA, Gum Springs.
She worked at the Deaton Cleaners in Arkadelphia and retired from the City of Malvern Cleaners. After retiring she became a Foster Grandparent at Goza Middle School.
She was preceded in her passing by her parents, husband, Jessie McCauley; one son, Henry C. McCauley, siblings, Robert, Richard, Gabriel, Lille Mae, Baby Sister Wilson and Janie B. Leakes, and one great-grandson, Ethon Boyer, IV.
She leaves two sons, Jesse Frank (Virginia) McCauley of Carson, Calif. and Robert (Asenatha) McCauley of Hot Springs; sister, Ruby Lee Newburn of Saledo, Texas, eight grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren.
Services Thursday, 11 a.m. at the Mt. Morriah Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Vernon Moody, Sr., pastor and eulogist.
Public visitation Wednesday at the funeral home 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.
