Michael Dean McNeal, age 63 of Dallas, Texas, left this earthly life to be with our Father in Heaven on April 18, 2017.
He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy and Minnie Wells. He was raised in Arkadelphia and graduated from Arkadelphia High School. Michael was employed most of his life as a brick mason.
Those left to cherish fond memories of him include: his significant other, Willie Mae Jamerson; two sons, Michael Bell of Dallas, Texas and DeVontae McNeal of Texarkana, Texas; four daughters, Latoya McNeal, Alexis Keys of Bogalusa, Louisiana, DeShuntae McNeal and Shadawndra McNeal both of Texarkana, Texas; three brothers, Ronnie Wells and Donnie (LaShundra) Wells both of Dallas, Texas and John (Paula) McNeal of Arkadelphia; one sister, Shirley Henry of Dallas, Texas; one stepbrother, Supt. Robert (Erica) Davis of Arkadelphia; one stepsister, Bobbie Jean Davis of Arkadelphia; eight grandchildren, Diamond, Byron, Diamond, Marcus, Dyling, My’Lasia, Malik and Destiny; two great-grandchildren, Michael and Jarvis and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Funeral services are under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 11a.m. - 5 p.m. with family and friends hour at the funeral home from 5 p.m. - 6 p.m.
The funeral service will be on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Gennesaret Baptist Church in Arkadelphia, AR at 11:00 a.m. where Rev. Frederick Smith is Pastor. Superintendent Robert L. Davis will serve as eulogist. Burial will be at Mitchell Cemetery in Richmond Hill.
