Mrs. Annie E. Nelson Bright, 86, of Sutton, died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, at her home.
She was born on Aug. 13, 1923, in Laneburg, to Hercil and Donna Mae Gathright Nelson. She wa a homemaker and mother and a retired USDA egg inspector. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Laneburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Bright, who died June 9, 2007 and one sister, Sandra Joan Spry.
She is survived by one son, Jimmy Bright and Jerrie of Horatio; two daughters, Linda Doege and Walt and Mary Mason and Jerry, all of Sutton; one brother, Ferral Nelson of Bluff City; two grandchildren, Todd Bright and Kevin Bright and Pam; four and one half great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
The graveside service was at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 13, at Pisgah Cemetery in Sutton, with Rev. Kenneth Grant officiating. The burial followed. Arrangements were by Brazzel/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott.
Family received friends Friday, Feb. 12, from 6-8 p.m., at Brazzel/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott.
