The Lady Tiger soccer team (2-1, 1-0 GAC) hosted the Central Baptist Lady Mustangs on Friday, marking another spectacular performance for Ouachita, as they finished the game with a final of 4-0 and moved their record to 2-1.

The Lady Tiger soccer team (2-1, 1-0 GAC) hosted the Central Baptist Lady Mustangs on Friday, marking another spectacular performance for Ouachita, as they finished the game with a final of 4-0 and moved their record to 2-1.
The Lady Tigers began the onslaught early in the first half, as Abby Emmanuel scored at the 4:35 mark of the game off of assists from Taylor Gay and Beth Wendl. That goal would mark the first of the game and make the Lady Tiger lead 1-0.
The next goal would come at the 21:22 mark for Ouachita when Jessica Allen scored off of an assist from Lauren Hatch, forcing the score to 2-0 and giving the Lady Tigers a little bit of breathing room.
Ouachita wouldn't take long to stretch that lead even further though, as just eight minutes later, at the 29:12 mark, the Lady Tigers would score a third goal. The goal was scored by Sarah Broyles who netted a header off an assist from Sarah McKimmey and made the score 3-0.
The last goal of the game would be scored at the 32:34 mark of the game, as the Lady Tigers would score again when Morgan Pitchford was able to play a spectacular pass and convert a one-on-one situation, forcing the score to 4-0. The goal was assisted by Brie Munoz and Carrie Lieblong.
The Lady Tigers played spectacular defense in the game, only allowing one shot to be taken by the Lady Mustangs, while taking 19 of their own. The Lady Tigers took 10 corner kicks to CBC's zero. The game only saw 10 fouls called, six of which went against the Lady Tigers.
There were two yellow cards given, as Munoz and CBC's Lauren Perry were involved in a scuffle, resulting in cards for both.
The Lady Tigers return to action on Saturday September 30 when they host Southwestern Oklahoma State for their second Great American Conference game of the season. That game will begin at 3 p.m.
