MALVERN — Vivian Louise Baker, age 83, of Malvern, passed away Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011.
MALVERN — Vivian Louise Baker, age 83, of Malvern, passed away Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011. She was born Feb. 3, 1927, in Stephens, to the late Samuel and Lillie (Holloway) Dawson. She was a member of Butterfield Missionary Baptist Church and a retiree of Chamberlain Door. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.
Preceding her in death is her husband of 14 years, Marvin McClenahan; her husband of 12 years, Doyle Baker; one son, Donnie Joseph Teague; and two brothers, Ray Dawson and Carlton Dawson.
She is survived by one son, Troy Teague and wife Linda of Antioch; one daughter, Carla Allen and husband Jerry of Bismarck; one daughter-in-law, Evon Teague of Bismarck; one stepson, Don McClenahan and wife Lynda of Malvern; one stepdaughter, Sharon Baker of Wisconsin; one sister, Opal Clifton, formerly of Malvern; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Leonard Dawson, Brian Teague, Michael Teague, Jeremy Allen, Matt McClenahan and Alex Hughes. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Malvern Nursing Home and members of Butterfield Missionary Baptist Church.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Malvern Nursing Home for their great care over the past year.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, at Atkinson Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, at Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bobby Goodknight and Bro. Gary Self officiating. Interment will be at Prairie Bayou Cemetery in Bismarck.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Butterfield Missionary Baptist Church building fund.
